Ideas for the final exams

What is more important to you: 1. Being rich or 2. Being happy. Tell me why you have chosen that answer.

First, I want to say that you CAN be happy and still be rich:S So you can actually be both of the alternatives. The question should rather be: «1. Being rich and unhappy or 2. Being happy but not rich,»
but then again, how the hell can you be happy and at the same time being poor? and when I say poor I mean so poor as the guy on the picture (the man with ugly teeth!). Poor can represent many things. Example VERY-poor (so poor that you live on the streets, and don’t have food on the «table» everyday), or like «OK-poor»(you got just enough to live out the days, but can’t afford to go to a restaurant every now or then for an instance).

So when that’s said. And considering that the question is: «1. Being rich and unhappy or 2. Being happy but not rich, and also that being unhappy means to have no friends at all, that you don’t have a girlfriend and nobody likes you etc, and that it is possible to be happy and being poor with freinds and so on…. I would indeed choose the second choice; to be happy but not rich. And the reason why? … Simply because I don’t want to live a life without  friends, not having a girlfriend and  that everyone around me doesn’t like me. Who would live like that? Being poor is so much better then being unhappy in my opinion. Guess I could managed pretty well to be poor, and it shouldn’t be a problem with FRIENDS!

But thinking about the question from another perspective, maybe some one would pick the first choice after all… Yea!.. maybe because they already have no friends and all that shit. Then why shouldn’t they wan’t to be rich and unhappy? they got nothing to lose really. You will still live your sucky life that you always do just with more money! Now go out and buy yourself a Play Station 3 (and Guitar Hero 3 + Assassin’s Creed), because then you don’t need silly friends!

Creative writing

1. What would happen if all trees began growing money?

If all trees began to grow money. The first thing that would happen is that the world would go crazy after them. People would simply stop chopping the trees down for wood, furniture- and house materials and so on because they would rather keep them as they make more profit of letting them grow the money.

This would lead to a cleaner atmosphere with less Co2 and the global warming would be reduced slightly because we will have more trees, and the trees are «eating» Co2 and making O2 to return. Countries with very much trees would be very rich, and countries with less trees or none at all would be the opposite. This could cause wars between countries, a war about trees…

Another thing that also would happen is that seeds that grow trees would be worth very much! and people would go bananas and plant as many trees as possible in their garden. But sooner or later every one will be rich, and the value of the money would fall and fall. So in the end no one will have materials to build their house, no wood for their fireplace and a Snickers-bar would probably cost like 2 billions NOK (poor Casson if hes not a good gardener).

Strange Objects – Your eyes doesn’t always have right!

Read the description of the pictures please!

First pic: Haha, so you see 3 green squares. And you might think: «hm, they are not parallel  with each other.» But think again! because they are! If you remove all the decorated graphic (all the black lines) you will see that the 3 green squares are perfectly parallel.

 Second pic: Love this picture! take a close look, and you will see that the picture is «floating». If you don’t see it right away try to «sense» with the mouse over it, (dra musen over bildet) while looking at the mouse. «its like the picture is of liquid!»

Third pic: This is my favorite! its crazy how this work! just look at it! You can clearly see that the circles in the picture is moving. But then again… they aren’t. Its just your eyes that is playing games!
If you want to check if its true, take a certain spot (bestemt punkt) on the picture were you got 2 circles facing each other, then look close and notice that the colours from the one circle and the colours from the other circle isn’t moving from each other at all! something they should if the circle were moving:S

What is an adjective? – An adjective describes the noun or the pronoun (Ex. blue, ugly, nice, thick, thin etc.)

What is an adverb? – An adverb is a word that affects everything except nouns and pronouns. It affects adjectives, verbs and other adverbs. You can find an adverb in a sentence by asking how, where and when (Ex, HOW fast did it go? -It went slowly. When did it go? it went today. HOW did it go? it went strongly.), and all words that end on -ly is adverbs (Ex. slowly, today, there).

What is a verb? – A verb is a word which describes something you do or state of being (Ex. go, read, hung, are, were, am)

What is a conjunction? – A conjunction is a word that bind two sentences together (and, though, neither… nor, either… or).

What is a pronoun? – A pronoun is a word which can replace the noun or another pronoun (Ex. I, he, she, we, they).

What is a reflexive pronoun? – A reflexive pronoun is a word which refers back to the subject in a sentence (Ex. myself, itself, yourselves, herself).

What is a preposition? – A preposition is a word which describes where something is located, and when something happened (Ex. on, at, into, before, during).

My story

Hello, I’m Vincent Lockert and I live in New York, the city that newer sleeps. And in fact, I live in the very centre of it in a 15 level building with together over 50 000 apartments, just close to this big skyscraper. This skyscraper is a big Nike-store that contains 23 levels with only Nike products. The skyscraper also have this giant football on the top of the roof with the Nike icon. I like to call it the Nike-sky-scraper.

 

So one day, me and my friend Lars Rushia, decided to play some 1 on 1 baseball were Lars was going to throw the ball to me and I was suppose to hit it as far away with my bat. But we had a hard time finding a place to play. But then, eventually we found this nice spot near a glass-store on the street that sells glass.
But when Lars threw the ball against me, I missed it with my bat and the ball went straight in the glass-store through the door. The owner of the store came out with the ball in his hand and a very angry voice yelling at us: “Get the F@*K out of here! Why the F@*K are you playing baseball near my store?! And even worse, why at all on the streets?! F@*K1N6 H3LL!!” He was so angry that he threw the ball as hard as he could far away in the air. … With our sad faces me and Lars Rushia walked sadly back home without my ball.

 

When we passed the corner to the big Skyscraper on our way home we got in a shock! Because on Nike’s parking area we saw this black Ferrari totally smashed by the Nike-sky-scraper (The big Nike ball). Loads of police officers was there to investigate the situation, and it was a big crowd there peeking as well. We walked towards one of the police officers and asked what had happened here?

The officer said he wasn’t quite sure, but he said something about a baseball that stroke the Nike-sky-scraper, and eventually it got loose and felt down on the Ferrari.
“Jesus that seller was an angry man” I thought…

OK, so this song… I wouldn’t say it hits me right in my hearth… but I like to listen to it very much; it get my pumped because of the high speed! And maybe when I feel for getting my aggression out after a fight with my mum for example:P, I play this song!
I think the intro is awesome, specially when he the singer screams » Oh my god have I done it again! «, That’s so cool!

Dragonforce – Through the Fire and Flames

Dragonforce is a music band. And that’s pretty much all I know about them, and maybe some stuff about one of the guitarist in there (they got more then 1 guitarist). Anyway they got this song called «Through the Fire and Flames», and it really rocks! At the moment I don’t know so much what they are singing about in the song, but I don’t care:P Its the playing that yells now! the guitarists in this song is awesome, they are so creative with the guitar! just listen to the «riff» after each refrain, it is stuck on my brain! and the solo… the solo is just KING, so funny to see the one guitarist drinking while the other is playing:P, and also, this song isn’t so noisy as the other rock/metal songs, you can actual hear the lyrics better on this song then Britney Spears song with «gimme more»:P

Like any other songs, you need to get used to it, so please take the time to at least watch the whole movie once!
